    Was updated with fresh ch***is and current driveline approximately 1995-1999 by owner/builder who has owned it 49 years.

    Ch***is; Original 32 late reinforced frame from California that is fully boxed. Model a front cross member. Custom Brake formed center cross member. Quarter elliptic rear springs with uncut original floor pan.

    Front axle is original 32 Ford that was reforged by “More Drop” company in 1970’s, drilled and metal finished, work of art. Fresh king pins. Unsplit 32 wishbones. 1940 spindles. Hidden Vega steering box. 4ea. chromed n.o.s. 1948 backing plates and 48 brakes.

    304 stainless headers and exhaust system, stainless fuel and brake lines.

    Rear axle is original 1940 Ford Halibrand quick change, Culver city # D234C, 2 additional sets of gears under the drivers seat. Shortened closed driveshaft resplined, not cut and welded. Lincoln needle bearing u joint.

    Working 1940 Ford emergency brake handle.

    Original gas tank slightly reshaped for clearance to quick change.

    Vintage King bee headlights, tags removed. Halogen bulbs. Walker radiator.

    Wheels are vintage magnesium American mags recently restored with new radial tires.

    The powertrain was purchased from Bob Simons from his 1950’s 32 roadster which was driven and raced until 1962 when parked.

    Freshened 1952 DeSoto Hemi 296 cu. In. Forged crank Line bored, balanced, Forged rods, bored .060 using Jahns 10:1 pistons. Cam is vintage Howard steel billet ground to Isky cross flow 2 specs. Howard mushroom solid lifters and Smith brother s custom push rods. Rocker arms converted to adjustable.

    Intake is Weiand drag star 6 x 2 intake with original Stromberg 97’s. Double roller timing chain, and oil pump updated to Chrysler 340. Water pump is Hot Heads adapter for chevy small block. Ignition is Chrysler 340 Msd distributer and Msd 6 A L. Starts easy and runs cool.

    Weber aluminum flywheel, Ford truck Pressure plate and LaSalle clutch disc, rebuilt 1956 DeSoto 12 volt starter.

    Offenhauser bellhousing adapters to 1941 LaSalle transmission converted to ford closed driveshaft. Hurst 1950’s yoyo shifter.

    All Ch***is and drivetrain rebuilt with approximately 4,000 miles. Mileage goes up as driven frequently. Spirited High winding engine very reliable. Trans shifts and performs well (Do not power shift) Steers and handles well.

    Painless wiring.

    Original filled grille shell, Walker Radiator. 32 Firewall. 2” chopped windshield. Working cowl vent. Fresh stewart warner winged gauges in original cluster. 1940 deluxe steering wheel and column. Modified 32 clutch and brake pedals.

    Interior is leather front and vinyl rumble seat. Shows some wear and heel wear on carpeting. Interior is approximately 30 years old.

    Recent top is original style hardware and wood bows using quick removable modern Porsche fasteners.

    Locking rumble seat with original n.o.s. step pad on p***enger side.

    Hoist is available for inspections.
