I love the Olcott owned Russo & Santo (Russo & Allen) 42 Willys...sedans kick ass, but I'm a bit biased...
I was supposed to go to the Nationals with a buddy who owns one of the Gassers there ( Jim Kirby's Challenger ) . he is also a HAMBer - DragWillys. Pissed I didnt go
would anyone happen to have any pictures of early 40's gasser sedans? specifically plymouth/dodge/willys?
The S-W-C looks awesome!!! Supposedly a "dummy" motor in there now but eventually will be a runner. The original interior is also very cool. The owner debated whether to recreate the interior or clean it the best he could. The verdict was to clean it up. Its only original once!!!
I was told that Ohio George was there signing autographs, but I didn't see any of his cars, the Jeg's car is an Austin A-40, Jimmy Oddy had one back then, that was killer. The Stone, Woods and Cook car is the original Swindler which I'm told was the only car there worth a million or more.........................
It is the original car,(S-W-C). The owner has had it since the 70's when it was a street rod. He just finished restoring it back to the race car.
