Snagged this 1936 Ford Tudor last week, it had a lot of old chrome pieces. Gauges in the dash were purchased in 1973, and I think that was the last time it was worked on and unfinished. Came with a 59A and two 1939 trans, Edmunds 2x2 intake with 97s, offie heads... Supposedly ran 2 years ago but my friend I purchased it from said he couldn't get it to turn. Can't wait to get it put back together! Check it out!
That's cool, looks like the old black paint would clean up real nice too. I'd love to see what this car would look like if it were put together with what's there, without making any major changes. Basically picking up right where the last guy left off.
Thats the plan, although I'll lower it a bit, it sits really hight right now. Couldn't wait so had to drop some white walls on it!
Wow, just awesome. A well looked after, probably very low mileage beauty, well done, what a great day you had. A change in stance will really enhance the look and all that old chrome... Thanks for the vid. Will follow this one.
Congrats @chaddilac...that's a nice one...your stable is growing...you still have the ole stockcar or was it a jalopy racer...All good...well deserved...Black is incredibly complimentary to those Ole Fords...Whitewalls, sitting right are hard to beat... I like your motto 'Couldn't help it, had to save it'...and now you're gonna turn the key on it...
I REALLY like that sedan, makes me miss mine even more. Your coming home pics and video bring back many memories. Mitch
I've had a few '36es, 1. '36 3 window, chopped it 5-1/2". 2. '36 5 window, Dago axle, flattened springs, reversed '50 Merc wheels w/Merc ash can caps 3. '36 tudor flat back, juice brakes, '53 Merc flattie, dago axle, nice rake. Your hump is perfect. REALLY makes me wish I'd kept my flat back. As @mitch said, many memories! Like a rerun...
WOW!!! That's an 86 year old car!!!...it's gotta be one of the nicest '36 bodies left in the country. Congrats
@hotrodjack33 , you're supposed to say it this way- "Wow, that's the body of an 86 year old, unbelievable!!"
