hey amigos, nice place ya got here.l`m building up a 40 Ford truck and this looks to be the best forum around.l bought the 1 1/2 ton truck for s****,by the pound and it ended up at $270.00. l`ll sell the rest back unless somebody needs what l don`t. l have a complete cab and flathead(someone took the carb) and the ch***is is a roller.l`m thinking l can use the front beam and spindles, steering box maybe and the engine if l can unstick it. l do need a frame though.lf the engine can`t be brought to life without surgery l may install a Jaguar straight six and ******.lt`s an american ******,not sure which but the engine/trans is really tight and fast.l`d put some carbs on it,maybe two Porsche carbs. That`s six stacks .. l don`t think it`s been done before but would that look cool or what? Sidedrafts look good too though, maybe something from a Datsun Z-car.Or for something really different l could find carbs from an actual Jag....nah,too easy. Anyhow a big howdy to all and if anybody has an idea for a frame for me(remember l may use asix cylinder) any help appreciated.....rc
