    Maybe so, but left slick doesn't appear to have scuff marks on side and Snake doesn't have fire suit on. :confused:

    As I remember, the first term for match race cars on the circuit, including AA/GS, and early Funny Cars, was "Burn Through", around 1967. Spinning their tires through the rosin (Gold Dust) sprinkled on the lanes, and over the starting line.

    Rader Wheels would be my answer. But I saw a Hot Rod mag article that called them Rebels. Lots of '60s TF experts on this site could sort this out.
