Happy to post pics for those that couldn't make it to the event. But I wasn't the only one there. And I'm just a point and shoot guy. Nothing special or artistic about my pics.

For those wondering what this is, KKOA has placed a sign similar to this on the show grounds since back in the 80's when they were a new organization. Look back at any magazine coverage from back in the day and you'll see award winners pictured under the sign, or just individual's cars that took advantage of a photo op. Somewhere, I've got a pic of my '55 Club Sedan at Des Moines KKOA show in 1984.

The "golden rule" sign was discussed by many. Same as in life, few obey it.

 

Hope the 'right' people discussed it. Thursday evening, I spoke with Jimie H, Bobby M, and Bob O about the very topic. In the past, I've communicated with Jerry Titus about it. They are aware.

Anyway, don't want to turn show coverage into a thread about how the event was ran. I'd be willing to discuss that off the forum in PM's.

If that is you, Jason, thanks for taking the time to visit with me about your Chevy! As I told you, your car is a jaw dropper.

Our car was home with a head gasket issue, so for the first time ever, we sat at the front gate in our daily driver and watched the cars cruise into the show. After seeing a line of stockers/camaros/mustangs/ratty hot rods/and the like roll in and generating an excitement level in me of "yawn ... meh!", I saw you snake your Chevy into the park.

That's when my jaw hit the ground! I had to come see your car. It's got a great stance, perfect profile and those modified Caddy bumpers look so gooood. Thanks for bringing it to the Leadsled Spectacular.
