Too far away but there are some intertesting cars and some interesting pieces in that auction.

  5. You have to use your imagination. 165 old cars and only five photos so far . Guess they still have time to make more photos. Seems a little slack though.

  6. I've been in there, but it's been a long time ago. Drove past it today on the way out of town. Maybe 20 minutes from my house. I won't be going to it, well maybe I will. I don't need anything else. so I better stay away. I'm sure it will be a madhouse. If they're typical Missouri cars, which I'm sure they are, they're going to be rough.

Lots of pictures up now. Some really good stuff there in my opinion. What is listed on the flyer as a "1957 Pontiac Comet Hurst" is actually a 1957 Oldsmobile Comet Hearse, really cool. I also see a dual quad 50's Cadillac and a 50's Oldsmobile with the watch winding steering wheel in it, too. If this was anywhere near me, it'd be a must-go.

If anyone goes, please take pictures and try to record some sale prices.

I'm a bit puzzled about what that might really be.

good thing I don’t live within a few hour drive of that auction. otherwise I’d be sorely tempted to go… some good shit there in that yard. I hope somebody buys it all up because I would hate to see all that shit crushed.

Hopefully there are titles registered in his name or people need a parts car. Alot of these kinds of auctions have come up the last number of years around the country and a lot of times they just bring in a crusher afterwards.

Another one that is coming up in September up here in Fountain City Wi is a Mecan Auction for Elmers Auto and Toy Museum. Car club cruised up and toured it in June. Absolutely breath taking and over whelming. Google Elmers Auto Museum and check it out.
