I have just replaced the Speedway Vega steering box with a Borgeson unit. Feels much more positive but seems tight when straightening up after turning left. Was set up with the same turns from central to full lock on both sides. Didn’t adjust anything just bolted it on.

No ideas except maybe just a little tight since it is new? Might wear in and be good since it has fresh machined surfaces to get used to working together.

Ok guys I ****ed up. It’s not the box,my steering wheel boss Is catching on the inside of the flared portion on the top of my column. Easy fix. It’s been a little long day.

Thanks for stepping up and letting us know what it was, all too often the OP doesn’t give any feedback.

Good to know. I've sold 100's of Borgeson Vega boxes on customer ch***is and never had a problem to date.
