I've used Camaro units. Modified to fit. Factory stuff lasts the best. .

My new OT truck Has a switch on the dash that drops all the windows simultaneously, sort of useless on my truck unless there’s a wasp in there, but it would be cool on your ride.

Think traditional. early to Mid 50`s cars had hydraulic powered windows.

I'm old enough to remember hydraulic windows - Hydraulic oil dripping from the door bottoms is also traditional...

When ever possible I use factory risers with '80s-90s FOMOCO motors. The Ford motor drive gears isthe same mesh as early GM cars. Did this for '36 Pontiac and '53 Chevy pickup.

A problem with Ford motors is these nylon rollers disintegrate. Easy to fix, replacements are cheap on the internet. Need to re-grease the gears anyway.

^^^^ On my nephews late ‘80’s Ranger, the factory rollers disintegrated.
Took the motor apart and sat and thought abit about what I was looking at. Cleaned everything out, pretty sure I used 5/16th nuts and slathered everything with white grease.
Put it back, think we had drilled out spot welds or rivets, but bolted it in.
Been like that for 6-7 years now, things still working as far as I know. He still drives the truck and I’d never thought to ask him about it recently.

  10. Any chance of pictures of the mount and installed unit? Please!

Sorry I don't. That was before the internet and sharing world wide and I don't feel like going through the monkey business of taking things apart to take pictures

Got kit from specialty, parts missing from kit, instructions clear as mud. Not recommended.

Traditionally we went to the junk yard and found something we thought we could make work in our cars. I did it and so have others here. No need to buy a high priced kit made in China.

Where I live, there are no "junk yards".

There are dismantling operations for late-model (under 10-year-old) vehicles, and high turnover self-service yards, also with late-model vehicles.

Land here is valued at 10-100x that of where you are. There are no static-inventory yards left.

Hmmm....that's supposed to be a compact car. That 59 Rambler I've been driving the past week or so, I can reach 3 of the 4 window cranks while driving, with a lap belt on.

Strange. Maybe I just have super long arms.

My Chevy II with straps for the windows is a bit of a pain to deal with when I'm on road trips, so I understand your desire for power. Have fun!

It has inertia reel 3-point belts.

Unless I want to very slowly lean over to where I would have trouble seeing where I am going, while moving, I can't safely reach.

Plus there is a shifter. I've knocked it out of gear trying for the crank.
