Just a few pics of for the most part HAMB friendly cars. Maybe a wheel here or there or a background car that is not but..................
Love the pics! I was there most of the day Saturday with my new wife! Had a chance to visit with many friends/customers/fellow transporters. Unfortunately a major water leak kept me from taking the 64 GP. I busted @ss for the last week to get it ready & was very close. The leak was a bit of a shock, because it came from somewhere that I had not messed with, but there was no way I was NOT going to attend being that close to home (13 miles)! A BIG shout out to Steve Peluso who brought my rechromed 55 Nash Grill & Surround Pieces from a fellow who was 9 miles from his shop in Mass. to the show for me!!! The seller would not ship & I was thinking I may have to wait until I got a transport up that way to get them, but Steve was kind enough to help me out!!!! Also a thank you to Steve Snyder (who I did not get to see) for the heartfelt memorial to our friend & major car guy Brody who passed just after last years show! I got the chance to show my new wife Laura the memorial Steve had set up & told her all about Brody as she got to see all the pictures & read the articles!!!! Beautiful cars, those Ponchos. I absolutely go nuts for bubble tops and those big block Tempests! Thanks for the pics.
You need to build a Buick first! Or the next time I’m in Tulsa visiting family I’m going to figure out where in the hell Guthrie is and go steal that thing from you!
Lol...the Buick should just need gas and a battery charge and maybe tires. It will be an easy "build". But, you are welcome to come visit if you end up in Tulsa. I am only about an hour and a half away from there.
I need to get back down there to visit my mom and other family. My biggest problem is I get lost going around the block or just getting out of my driveway!
Thank you for the pictures! First time out with my recently completed '56 gasser. I had a great time with it and it ran stronger than I expected.
Every make has a bubbletop now...Thanks to B-J TV Oh, and Pontiac only had one size block...from 287 to 455 ;-)
