did anyone see a 32 hiboy truck, red oxide, about a 6 inch chop? it's a buddies from santa cruz. we're going to bproof but i wondered if he got it done.
it was a great show thanks ryan and kieth, and it was a pleasure to meet ya ryan...hopfuly the hot rod well be done for next year's!
After 4 years building my coupe, I told myself "enough is enough" and drove my car out to the Revolution!!! It was stressful as hell driving there because you never know whats going to happen........but it was also the most rewarding drive of my life!!!!!!! I not only was stoked to get there in one piece, but I was also thrilled to see the reception the coupe got upon arrival. Friends and acquatances who had heard stories for years about the coupe I was trying to build finally saw my vision on the road and not just some pic in an email or posted on this site. To cap the day off, I was the reciepient of an award by Ryan and Keith for "Shiny Paint".........Holy Sh$T, you gotta be kidding me!!!!! Thank you guys!!! Thanks everybody for the kind words regarding the coupe, it meant alot!! Big Dirty
Ryan or Keith- My brother and I came in a car and I was suprised that at the front gate we had to pay $25 dollars for the driver/car and $10 for the p***enger. Seems wrong that it would've been cheaper for us to park the car outside and just pay $10 each to get in. Besides that I enjoyed the show and hope it happens again next year.
mo, did your car not enter the show? Meaning, did you register your car? PM me and I will help ya out... No sweat.
Ryan, The car wasn't pre-registered. I figured driving up that it would be $25 for the car, including the two of us. Mike
Clay's truck looked good. He called me yeasterday and said the fan didn't JUST go through the rad. but he thinks he popped the motor????? FLIP
Amazing pictures, Hot Rod Revolution is the perfect name for the show. Looks like I have about a year to build a pre-48 hot rod!
Keith, Job well done with the A bone! "Totally Traditional Tardel" Man, I wish that I had your energy. To throw a chingo like that was simply amazing! I will be there next year, so do keep me posted on what date you are going to have it. I hope to get up there before the weather gets funky, so when I'm in town, I'll give ya a heads up. Now you & Mary need to take a rest,. Glad that it all was a success!!!!!
man... WTF was I thinking, didn't go. looks like I missed out. "mapquested" it and everything. 'bout 2 hours from here. more pics please. seems as though everyone posted pics of the same cars. anybody got a good pic of the rustic "A" speedster? saw it in the background of one picture
2 hrs ?.... are you nuts. I drove 13, Big Dirty ...that was a well deserved trophy...BEAUTIFUL car, i was standing there with Ryan when you drove it in......amazing Fred
I love stuff like Big Dirty's car making the maiden voyage, Ryans Coupe finally done, and the 34 Ford coming out of a 41 year Hiatus with the same owner at the wheel. This IS whats its all about, my friends... Glad I got to be there. jay
