Excuse me if I missed it, but did you do an intro?
If not, we like to know a lttle about you before we start dishing out info and answering questions. It's just a common practice here.
I have a '48 Ford coupe. I can't tell you off the top of my head the width from wheel to wheel (although, I think you'd want to know fender to fender) but we put mine on a trailer with no problems. I guess part of it would depend on the trailer. If it's designed to haul cars you should be fine.
Post a pic of you car when you can.

yes i did a intro ,the trailer i'm useing is not a car trailer

  4. What wheels are on it? has it be lowered? I just moved my 46 on a flatbed and the rear fenders front edges hit on a 8 foot wide trailer with 12 inch tall rails. I used to move the chassis alone on a trailer built to haul a triumph spitfire, 6 feet wide.

Here's the intro, since it's so important to the intro police...

    Top loader or top shift?
40 started side shift on cars, trucks still had top shift with a floor shift. Is that what you mean?

don't know the width but the front of my Model A is 64" to the outside of the tires and it is wider than the rear i took outa the 82 Volvo, also will depend on if it has stock wheels.....

what i've got is a const trailer, the fenders are on the inside,if the front tires fit between them it will be alright, the tran shifts on the top like a truck but the floor looks like it was made like it is not cut,the car is from mexico

  7. I'd be more concernced with getting it home than if the tranny is the correct tranny.
Even after you get it to the house its a long ways to Pebbel Beach.
I've hauled 'em with the wheels hangin' off the sides of the trailer. Pain in the butt but it can be done. Bring some timbers just in case.
If your trailer is 7-8 feet wide you shouldn't have a problem. Gwetting pasy t the fenders might be a pain but you can always jack it up and move the wheels over the fenders, then prop the chassis on the timbers to haul it.
