I would think that photo was an 'in progress' shot. Hopefully he got it to a more finished state.

 

That checks all the hot rod boxes for me. Straight axle chassis, souped up flat head and a lightwehgt body mounted in a way its original designer never intended, all built by a guy who was apparently a little crazy. What's not to like?

 

Lots of potential there. Wonder what became of it?

 

That would be the original Mustang!
