I working on my Coupe....removing some pieces. Particularly the front window.

I didn't want to pull the visor now and finish pulling the remaining ...currently inaccessible windscreen frame screws/bolts. Enabling the whole thing to come out. (Everything else is removed) shouldn't the frame bottom and sides just slip from the top with the pinhead screws out and I've ran a razor blade along/ inside the top of gl*** so it's released fron the top frame.. tigging and tapping and pulling...no luck so far.

Ive got some frame seperation on one side. The flat "L" frame joiner thingy is not giving up much ground yet.

looks like a LOT of silicone. Maybe there is still some bonding up above the top of the gl*** at the top frame?

Quite possible....the frame is a lost cause due to rot and it helps I have a nice replacement....but trying to save what I can.

Yes it should but there’s a lot of binding material and who knows what kind of sealant was used in the past for leaks. I don’t know I’d you can get it off without taking the whole windshield ***embly out. I seem to remember using a rubber mallet to get the gl*** out. The whole frame will slide out.

Just tilt the windshield out (remove the arms) unscrew the hinge from the header and remove the whole thing. No need to remove the visor.
