Damn Clark! I'm glad you are alright. You guys are the reason we bought our camper. My wife always wanted one, and I saw the fun ya'll have with yours. Other guys from our group are looking at vintage campers now. It's a sickness.
Mikeys Chevy wagon did the same thing on the same side. Must have something to do with years of stomping down and trying to twist on the axle!

Terry...here's a pic of that axle. Some of the rust is from the rain yesterday. There's also a couple more pics of the carnage. The camper is gone. We stripped it of everything usable, made a pile of aluminum for salvage and had a big bonfire with the rest. We were close to putting the wagon on that pile! I am pretty sure the wagon is sold. I feel horrible about this. Being an avid camper myself. Idrive a 49 cad and would have cried too if this would have happened to me (I'd only cry if it hit my caddy!!). I am glad that no one was hurt. We need to keep the trailers up as much as the cars, take care and God bless you and yours through all your travels.
