    I just heard that Pat Ganahl wrecked in his drag car today at a meet and passed away. What an incredible loss for all of us.

    Damn I wish I never saw this thread. Never met the man but really admired his writing and the attitude that it represented. The best auto writer I’ve ever encountered!

    I have nothing but tears and anger for the situation. My deepest condolences go out to all family and friend's. R.I.P. Mr. Ganahl, you were taken from this earth way too soon.

    Only met him once at the NSRA nats in St Paul in 89 when he spearheaded the reintroduction of Rod & Custom magazine. What a huge loss for the car world. My condolences to his family and friends, such a huge loss.
