Customs 1950 buick bumper

Does anyone know if the bumper overides (if that's what they are called) are rare. I plan on narrowing this bumper but don't know if I am going to use the overides. Don't want to chop them up if someone really needs them..

 

I would say not so rare. Cut it up.

 

Don't they just unbolt? You don't need to cut them.

 

Too wide... need to pull 4 or 5" off each side

 

You asked about the overriders and not wanting to chop them up. You can take them off to cut the bar. I don't see an issue.
