    i don't think they are , but i have heard someone is trying to resurect it

    Ya the ch***is parts company, made parts in the early 60s.
    They had a bones kit, could make them any length you wanted. Anyone else making them?
     
  7. The real name to Gene Scotts buisness was Antique Auto Parts INC. The guy who is running the shop now is Jim Gordon, he's worked there for 40 years plus. Jim and his wife are always at the LA Roadster show/swap meet, selling carb parts and other small items. After Gene died, and Jim took over, the buisness is called Fast Ford Parts, the phone number is 626-288-2121. You well have to let the phone ring and ring, unless your lucky....Ed

    Elmo Rodge spoke to them about the tubing you're referring to for me a while ago, and its like Desotos - all gone!

    Darn! Now is the time we need a company like that for our rods. With their stuff you could make anything fit anything.

    Hello Everyone.
    this is to let everyone Know
    Jim Gordon is well, he has NOT shut down Specialty Ford.

    I was at the shop today! 08-25-2022
    I Spoke with Jim he is Alive and well 81years old
    I asked Jim, if it was ok to update and report about what is going on with hime and the Store.
    Jim said yes that would be Fine.
    Jim is the process of cleaning up after the Fire that happened Last year.
    Jim is Re-organizing his stock to make it easier to get parts out.
    Jim will be putting his number back into service as soon as the phone company allows it, has to get an ok in the location due to the fire.
    (this is why it is still out if service)
    In the meantime he said it would be ok if someone wants something to Email me.
    Email With the parts you are asking for and your Name and phone number.
    This way he knows why he is calling you..
    I will print the emails and give it to him every Friday morning.(my day off from work).
    I will respond only to say I got your email.
    Jim will respond directly to you.
    I am a friend of/with Jim, in by getting parts from him started about 10 years ago.

    PSI went out about 1976 -7.
     
  13. PSI may have gone out in the late 70's, but there was still a lot of stuff in the store when we were there 6 years ago
