Technical rubber seal for a 32-34 ford pickup cab.

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by David E Hummell, Aug 25, 2022.

  1. I received all the parts today to fix up my doors for holding the window gl*** and I got the metal retaining groves and the corresponding rubber seals for the bottom area of my doors. When I bought the cab and doors there wasn't any of these seals present so I am just guessing about the location the guy that I got the parts from said they are mounted to the door and in their parts book, it says the seal ***embly is mounted to the floor I guess on the outed vertical edge? I need help with this. Thank you

I've built 4 deuce pickup's and the lower seals have slipped into a channel on the bottom of the door. I never used any rubber around the door, just relied on the right size windlace for the seal.

  3. Krylon32 I am not going to add any weather stripping to the door other than what is there from the factory. I am at a loss were the C shaped metal mount and the corresponding rubber seal strip is mounted on the bottom area of door or cab. Thanks
