In instances like this, I like to call the company and talk to an actual human being that has knowledge of the subject at hand. It seems to make thing alot less frustrating, plus you can bounce ideas off of eachother.
I think you’re wanting to order pistons for an engine? I didn’t want to download your attachment. If my assumption is correct, maybe let folks know what you are building, and what you are wanting out of it. I/e you probably don’t want 11:1 cr with a stock cam, nor a big cam with 8:1 cr. I’m just trying to piece your post together
Call Carillo. Ask to speak to someone in technical support. You are not in uncharted territory. This is by no means the first time that they have made anything you might want. I just did this with Ross, for my blown 354. They were super helpful. Much of what is on that form will either be an OEM dimension, or something that your machinist will need to measure for you, your you will need to measure. I had my cam in-advance. If you are selecting a cam, know that an Iron headed Hemi, with stock rockers, and stock-length valves cannot take much more than 0.500" lift, and even then there is a chance that the tops of the guides might need to be shortened. The lift on my cam is 0.501". Common tactics like milling the pocket deeper for the spring runs the risk of hitting water.
@c/h if you didn't already get proper tech help from someone at CP-Carrillo, I can help you with understanding & filling out the order form. I used to work there in Tech Sales (almost 17 yrs) until earlier this year. PM me and we can discuss further if you need. BTW- I own a blown 354 hemi as well !
I’ve worked with JE, Ross, CP- Carillo, Arias, etc. everyone of them WANT your business. I was close to all of them in SoCal which made it easier. But their was alway a phone conversation.
