What highway was the Lincoln Highway? The map looks like it might be Highway 50 (the loneliest highway in America).
My dad drove truck for awhile. That picture reminds me of when he told me, you always use the same gear coming down as you did going up. Don't forget, that truck probably didn't have a Jacobs brake .
