It looks to be a little better than mine was, not trying to take anything away though. I love to see them saved.
Im with you ive saved several most people would of walked away. I was lucky with this car. It was an old drag car. Fenders and doors are solid no metal work at all. The quarters were cut for larger tires. Roof was all dents from the hood being placed on it. I ended up just going with skins and rockers from cars inc. This is probably tied with a 67 chevelle convertible i did for sheet metal replacement.
Picking away slowly on the 55. Gas tank installed, exhaust completed and passenger side glass installed.
That really looks nice! It also looks like you're not too far off from getting it driving. Can't wait to see some pics of it "in the wild".
Li'l plain Jane went and got herself all gussied up! I like your workmanship, and your vision. Beautiful masterpiece, and I LOVE your 4 carb application. Lot of metalwork, much appreciated. Paint is in the passing lane!
Daaaaaamn! That's turning out really well... the satin & gloss contrast is perfect! I'm wondering what the stance will be?
Somehow I missed this thread earlier. This is a beautiful 55, really like that color. Lots of great work . Thanks for the pictures.
Yup,that's VERY NICE. I really like the details like the immaculate under carriage, four carbs and satin/gloss paint.
