Well, I have a flathead I'm tossing into a project and want to freshen it up a bit.. You know rings , bearings and a little cam so were is a good place to shop and why? thanks John
You won't find better people to deal with than Red's Headers, Fort Bragg CA. Patrick's Antique Auto Parts, AZ is a close second. IMO Tim
Two places come to mind--Joblot Automotive, deep stock and knowledgable people; Red's Headers, also probably has everything and can answer your questions. I suspect Hamber **** Spadaro would also be a very good source, as he knows his Fords, but his catalog doesn't really show what he has in the mechanical sections. I suspect he would have it all too.
Thanks for the reply and I have bought from both Patricks and Reds. I had great results every time.. I didn't know they carried the bearing ,rings and other rebuild goodies..
Don't be afraid to ask for Red himself, (Hamilton) he's a wealth of flathead information; AND parts!! (sometimes he can even come up with some NOS parts that don't show up on his web site!) And if Red isn't available; the gals on the phone know their stuff too!! BTW - Red's Headers have a NEW web site address .. http://www.reds-headers.net/
