A couple ofd Saturdays ago, my buddy Bill and his dad were out on a little cruise. Someone didn't like his car at all. Some one with wrong tags, no insurance or drivers license. He wants to fix it and is looking for some parts. Anyone know of any??? Gene.
I think I'd change that statement to "Looking for a lot of parts." Like a new frame, a new body, and a new top for starters...he may be better off selling this one for parts and getting whole other car to replace it. Hopefully, he and his dad are all right after the collision.
At least you still have that rear fender emblem. That's the hardest thing to find on the car. I sent you a DM with info on a guy out here in CO that might have parts.

That one is like mix of my two, both black XL's, but my ragtop is a 390 car and the hardtop is the G-code 406 car. At least the trunk lid looks OK, as it is different from hardtop/ sedan. Will be tough to fix, but if it is a genuine XL ragtop G-code, it's worth fixing
To try to answer you guys. Bills now 80 year old dad was checked but released. Real G code. The girl did go to jail, but I don't know the outcome. She was driving an SUV so the hit was above the frame. Mr. Duran...thanks for the DM. And I will tell him about the FB page. Gene.
That hit is in a weak area above the frame.....the windshield doesn't look cracked..Should be repairable.... After the plastic trim parts are sheared off, modern vehicles are fucking cannonballs..
