Man, you nailed it right and tight. When you went around to the back of the car, and I heard that exhaust note it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Looks like you have completed your magnum opus...until the next one.
Thanks you guys. I liked the '34 but somehow it missed the mark, the '36 was a "statement" but didn't function very well as a car, this little car seems to hit all the right marks. It runs great. It drives like a go kart, very neutral handling and "adequate" performance. It looks like a Hot Rod. I'm anxious to get the interior straightened out, that van seat is UGGG-LEEEE. Now, I need focus on actually finishing it, and wrapping up the interior and a couple little aggravating things with the wagon, and try to keep from building a car around the 17" sprint car steering wheel I took out of the roadster. A buddy of mine has a steel '27 roadster body and a '32 frame...
'27 on a Deuce frame? You're already planning your next project? You don't think you've made some of us look bad enough already?!? Sorry... I was looking for an excuse for my lackluster performance and you were standing right there.
I'm trying to talk myself out of it. If I don't pull the trigger on it, my friend from work's husband has a '62 Impala with a big block he's had for 30+ years that he want's to sell...
27 on Deuce rails!! Be still my heart. I WILL hate you then. The roadster is *****in’ as well as the wagon. The best of both worlds!
Just when you think things are going smoothly, this happens. I ended up having to replace the engine harness and half the under dash harness. Goodbye ammeter, you were fun until you melted...
