I never lived in Los Angeles but saw them on the news.

#8 was the biggest and best!

 

We made it in 07 and helped park cars. A great event

 

I only got to go to one; the one at the shop in (I think) Sycamore. While I intended to go to more of them it just didn't work out. I liked the one I went to, though.

My T-shirt says the 2nd one, 2003.

I never went but we give one of our buddies heck every chance we get because they wouldn’t let his pretty traditional car in because his wheels are too big.

 

I got to most of them and they were the best shows/events I ever attended. Actually met @atch and many other HAMBers at the 2003 event.

 

Went to my first "Pile-Up" in 2005 and went to everyone after. the second weekend in October has not been the same since. Was there through snow and 90+ degree heat! Wish I could have made it to the first shows at Marty & Sons, in Sycamore, IL. Still the best time I ever had at a car show.

I somehow managed to get to the 1st one, then missed a few, but then hit several in a row. Missed the last couple. Some really cold, and some really hot, 5 hour drives each way, to and from.
There were some great HAMB meet & greets at those shows!
