The orange convertible above just sold on BringATrailer for $40K, which seems like a really good deal for an old custom with history, especially a Tri-5 convertible. I know the custom styling isn't for everyone but I really like it.

 

My pal finally took his '55 out for the first time.

@Moriarity, when you purchase a notable custom, do you sometimes also get all of the trophies and historical items?

 

Ain't no hippie, but uh (clears throat)......I was thumbing thru a Dead magazine in the checkout line today. Dig the no bumper, chrome reverse 210. Probably Oakland built, probably not a speck of rust.

 

Here's a couple projects that I've come up with recently. I've never done a tri five or even owned one so this will be a learning experience. I've always built 28 to 36 Fords.
