I've known Paul's family since 1970 when he was maybe 7 years old. His dad and Burns Barryman started the Early Irons Street Rod Club (in Warren Michigan and Auburn Hills). First big club trip was 1975 NSRA Nat's in Memphis. I've kept in contact with Paul and his dad Paul Sr. for a visit at least once a year since I moved to Oregon in 2003. So when I PM'd Paul about my May 2022 visit I had no reply which was so unlike him. About a week later I called his dad and was informed that Paul Jr. (PJ as we knew him) had passed from Covid-19. I was in Michigan in late Nov. 2021 but other family and Friends had Covid so I stayed at another home about 50 miles away and chose not to see Paul. He passed in mid Dec. 2021 Later found out he was already in the Hospital and on a ventilator. So, If you knew Paul or had contact with him here on HAMB please make a pass at the strip or start your 55 Nomad as a tribute to Paul55. I've held off on making this post since I thought that a family member would post Richard >>> Movin/on
Sad to hear. I had some parts he was interested in a while back, and we had PM'd a bit. Never completed the deal, but I always read his posts.
Very Sorry to Hear This, I transported several cars to & from him over the years, he was a friendly, easy to deal with guy & we hit it off immediately. A big loss for our car family here. R.I.P. Damn, he brokered my 47 buick deal for me and got it shipped. Great guy!! So sorry to hear this, and so young. Rest in peace Paul. Lippy
Wow, sorry to hear. Had a few message correspondences with him thru the years. Was familiar with his families cars seeing them at shows for many years while I lived in Michigan.
