Would it be possible to use a 28,29 a cowl on a 27 tall t coupe? I've got a 27 tall t coupe from the doors back no cowl and to my untrained eye it looks like it would work. Just trying to piece together a complete body to fund my model a project.
I've been wondering the same thing, only reversed. Everyone says 26/27 coupe, sedan doors fit 28/29 Closed truck cabs. So how hard could it be to hang a 26/27 cowl and A pillars on a 28/29 closed cab. Do 28/29 coupes and sedans have the same hinge spacing as the closed cab trucks?
I think you can take a '28-28 A Pickup cowl & A posts and attach it to the back of a '26-27 T Coupe or Tudor, some floor subrail work will have to be done. The A Closed cab pickup and sedan cowls and A pillars are different.
I too was wondering the same thing ! ive got a good 27 coupe body and recently picked up a mint bonnet and sides from a 28/29 model A ,and seeing as im building my T on A rails i thought they might come in handy ,paid $25 aussie for the complete hood ***embly(about 15 usd) so the price was right ,got em home and they are too wide but only just and could be trimmed down or bent to suit, but i ebayed em instead as i thought they were too good to cut & got$275 for it which payed for a new heavy duty clutch and a second hand sequential shifter for my toploader !(a bit off subject i know)but i think 28/29 cowl will be too wide butr you never know Henry was a bit of a tight **** and many 28/29 parts do interchange so if you get one cheap make it fit ,and yes28/29 pick up doors are exactly the same as 26/27coupe doors...good luck bro!!!!
