Nads- Great Show! The Rumblers know how to put on a gig. We had a blast and met some really kool folks. Can't wait for next year. Where are you hanging for Bike Week? We are planning on going to the Last Resort for the Chopper Show.

Nads, I didn't build the truck originally but rebuilt everthing on it. When I got the car it was blk/white but had rust popping everywhere. I liked the scheme so much that I stuck with it. I rebuilt engine, trans, rearend, paint and some of the interior. I built the desoto grill from two grills.I also put granada brakes on the car. It was a nice car though and a ton of fun to drive. That Essex is sweet, anyone got a year on that car ? all the onse I ever see here are more like 28-29 or so that looks 32-33 ?? nice looking car. I like some of the odd brands, a friend of mine here has a 34 Nash Layfayette coupe looks kinda like a slightly bigger 34 Ford.

 

55Olds88, that Essex had the baddest engine in it too. It was a Caddy, I don't what size but it had a four deuce Horne intake on it. It had finned valve covers with small Cadillac chrome badges on it, they looked great.

Nads, if you look closely you can tell that he is checking out your rearend... and I am not talking about the Packford.

 

He had on his mirroed side shot glasses and yea it was your rearend he was looking at

The Essex is a 1935. You gotta love the rattan door panels and the 12 volt tiki torches.

i talked to the guy he lives in FL.he is asking $18,500.00 for that Essex.i would buy it if i won the lotto...Kool car though.....
