Technical 289/302 heads???

    I have a set of these but not sure if they are the 289/302 era they have the smog ports the casting shows 289/66 just not sure ...any of you know for sure please let me know

    The 5M2 is the casting date. 1965 Dec 2.

    Lash adjustable positive stop studs began in 1969.

    Those definitely early heads because the push rod holes are machined and the rocker arms are not the rail type that has a lip on each side of the tip to align the rocker with the valve stem.

    The FoMoCo emblem is also another indicator they are early heads. Later castings switched to the Script and Oval Ford Symbol
