Well, at (78) and somewhat handicapped, I am just thrilled today. I have been working on my '49 Ford Coupe for almost two years now.. NOT whining, but have to do most all of the work in my handicap scooter, as I have a bad back, neck, and knees... Proudly have the rough bodywork looking pretty much like I want it. In the last week I have managed to cut out the bad floor areas, get a new master cylinder and all new brake lines & hoses in place (making a complete new brake system) Today a friend helped me put my 1953 flathead motor in. We also changed to a 1951 Overdrive transmission. Here are a few pictures from today, along with what I started out with two years ago. Hopefully will be driving it next spring
Got 'er in! Cool, Daddy-O! Good friend, you have. Easy to see why you're thrilled. I'm thrilled for you. You kick ***!
You're an inspiration. I love it when someone shows us what they can do instead of telling us what they can't do. Great project, I hope you are driving it come spring.
I am building 50 2 door. I am 87 and also have some limitations as to what i can do, but it is something to keep me active and busy.
