Well it's very close now and I just can't wait.I've finally have all the details worked out and can finally share them here.A couple of years ago it a family came to my attention that had two terminally ill children and needed some help.Well the fact that I'm not a rich man keep me from being able to help them with everything they were needing but my wife and I thought that we could put on a show and try to help more.People came from all over and I was blown away with the amount of support and the generosity of everyone that was there. Now here we are putting on our 3rd show.Just like the past two shows this years show proceeds will go to a local family with a sick child. This year we are raising money for a 7 year old girl named Brianna.Brianna suffers from a rare disease called JDM or Juvenile Dermatomyositis.JDM is a autoimmune disease that has no cure and there aren't alot of treatments for it.The treatments are very painful and expensive. Here is a link to an article that the local paper did on Brianna. http://heralddemocrat.com/articles/2006/08/06/local_news/news07.txt Well on with the show!! The weekend will start off Fri. with a party at the Daddy'o compound.Everyone will meet at around 7:00pm at Watson's drive in and caravan to the shop.Fatflatty and I will be cooking hot dogs and the Road Demons are helping out by bringing chips and some "refreshing" beverges! We will party the night away to the sounds of PUSHROD! http://www.push-rod.com/ (Thanks Stockerhotrod!). Then on Sat. the show will start at 10am and last until 2pm.We will have some amazing raffle prizes and some really cool T-shirts with artwork by the HAMB's own Hamilton. The entry fee will be by donation so whatever you can give will be accepted. We don't have your usual "best of " trophies we give out handmade trophies for all kinds of fun things.Don't expect a stuffy car show and come to have fun and to help a good cause. Thanks for everyones support in advance. Viva La HAMB!!!! Jamie For more info pm me or call: Jamie Geesling (903)815-3281 Watson's Drive In 631 W Main St, Denison, TX (903) 465-4669
Talked to Jamie last night, this is gonna be a cool deal. The show first off is always cool, The garage crawl slash get together is gonna be awesome. Gonna be a band and everything. You really need to come out and support this event for Jamie. We always joke and say it is Jamiefest but it is really for a good cause besides a bunch of hotrodders getting together. Jamie puts together this show and always picks a child that is having hard times or need some type of medical attention. All proceeds from the show is given to the recipient. Really, really nice and he works hard at it and it shows. If you can, please come out and support this, I am sure you will not be dissapointed. So Dallas and Fort Worth guys and gals it is role call time. __________________ Why buy it when you can build it!!!!!
I'll be there and I'm working on the other Stray Kats. I should be in town around 5:00 pm on Friday. Is it to late to donate a door prize? I have some shirts and other Kat krap stuff that Iwould be glad to donate. Let me know and I'll throw them in the Merc. Last year was my first time to be there and I had a great time. I was trying to post the t-shirt art but I'm to big of a comp. dummy.Maybe Hamilton will post it if he sees this.
Friday after work, I was driving the Merc home and noticed my belt started to slip. I was only four miles from my house, so I just drove on in. I popped the hood and was shocked that my Alternator bolt broke off. I'll have all week to remove the bolt from the head, so it will be able to make it down for the show. God is good to allow me to get her home and not have this happen on the road. See ya Friday Jammie. Happy Trails, Mick

Finished up the Dirty's pick award. Man is it cool!! I would love it on my shelf. Hamilton did some bad *** art work on it for me. Anyhow drove the roadster into work today, I am ready to head out as soon as they will turn me loose. Jamie get some sleep today because the next 36 hours are gonna be a blast. I will be there for the show tomorrow but will have to miss the party tonight, unless it runs REAL late. Any chance of a 2006 Mitsubishi with a giant "e" sticker on the truck winning that Dirty pic? Didn't think so...
