I've got a question that I've been able to find the answer to after numerous searches on the forums. I've got an ad posted in the For Sale section for a car I'm selling. Since I placed the a few days ago I've lowered my asking price. How do I go about updating the price listed in the thread heading?

    Thanks in advance for the****ist

You can only edit your posts/replys within 24 hours.

Just reply to your post and just say you'd like to revise the asking price to $_____

Sounds like you want to change the price that shows up in the forum under the****le.

Just let me know what the ad is for and what you want the price changed to and I will do it.

The easiest way to be sure we are talking about the same thread is to copy the url ( http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1462094#post1462094 ) and paste it in the message to me.

Yes, I would like to change the price that shows up in the forum under the****le. I had already posted a reply stating my new asking price.

    The thread is: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=129540

The asking price was $1100 OBO but I have now lowered it to $900 OBO.

Thanks in advance for the change. I greatly appreciate the help.

    Done.

I gotta tell you, that is the way to list something for sale. I wish there were more like you.

The price on that car is STUPID CHEAP. I have no idea how it hasn't been*******ed up already.

    Mucho thanks.

I tried to list all of the info that I'd want to see when looking for a ride. It would be nice to see "detail" catch on as a trend:)

I thought that I was kinda low-ballin' the price when I originally posted the ad but I was serious about it movin'. I guess, for now, it remains unsold.

    Thanks again.
