To clear up the murky waters, Kijiji isn't Craigslist. We do however also have Craigslist. Facebook market place, and the Golden Arches.
This kijiji, I think it used to be the Bargain Finder Group who sold out or were taken over.

    Seems it's a E Bay affiliated site.
That said, it's what we have that's spanning the country as a means to advertise and to sell stuff. That it's a free site to advertise within limits, means ask what you want and if someone pays it you did good to support the local economy.
As far as those rims being a rare find, a good deal or not...? I'm more curious as to how much they sold for back in the day. Did he keep a receipt?

    Great score. Congrats.

Creepy ad. I'd blame it on a tripped out creative director in an ad agency in NY or SF or Chicago. LSD or peyote possibly. But it also takes a shitty client to do shitty work, so somebody at Thrush approved that Deliverance concept. And paid for it. What the F............resno???

It's funny how the ad lists everything as "Thrush Computed". Like they had advanced CAD systems back then.

No receipt but that would have been cool. I found this advertisement 1969 with prices. Seems they only had a couple of styles to choose from. They say $25 In 69 is $200 today. I paid $250 for them
