History Oliver band saw converted to louver press.

    Anyone have information on this louver punch. I’ve had it for years and don’t know the history on it other than it started life as a Oliver band saw.

    located in Texas.

    Oliver made some heavy duty bandsaws and is still in the woodworking equipment.
    Still I'd think that someone in the Southwest might know the history of that louver press. If it had been in use somewhere over the years.

    More than just the function...
    I think some of the big old tools are so beautiful.
    Like art. Like statues.
    Your Louver punch is like that with it's perfectly shaped C.
