This plate was gifted to me by a good friend. The brand looked to possibly be "Thompson" ? Someone had machined some of the fins off at some point and only left the "N". There is an accessory drive (snout) casted into the plate as well. I'm pretty sure it's a back plate to a blower. Anyone out there know? Thanks
Beautiful piece,,,I’ve seen similar parts that were used to drive a fuel pump from the back plate . But,,,usually the drive for a pump is 3/8 hex spline . The tooth count on the gears are 12 and 24,,,,,so it would reduce the ratio to half speed . It’s still a beautiful piece . Tommy
