Hot Rods 1936 Dodge PU in the weeds! (actually not figuratively)

I drove 42 miles yesterday to preview an auction that posted there was a 36 Dodge pickup there. It was there but I should have got there about 50 years sooner. I did get a couple cool pics of it that I thought my HAMB friends would like seeing anyway. The truck is in Lawton, Mi and does have a clear ***le. The ***le and the dash are about the only things any good in my opinion. Will probably get sold for s****! Sorry for the small photos but those are from my phone.

 

The frame is probably gone but what is visible doesn't look terrible

 

I'd probably try to buy it.

From here, the cab looks good from the knee up.

 

Wonder if the cab is good enough to build a bobber truck with. The cab, hood and grill would be all that I was interested in with that one. The rest would go bye bye.

 

Did it have that “swoopy” grill, or is that a different year PU?

My cousins that he pulled from a field, geez, was 45 years ago I guess, musta have been a ‘35 then? He was told it was a ‘36. I’ll never know. Lol
