Is there anyone out there that has a 32 desoto, have pics or have ever seen one???? My boss have 2 one restore and another as a ratrod with a 50 desoto hemi in it. These are the only two he's seen. Are they that rear??
Just giving you a hard time... check out the Perpetual Desoto show @ desotoland.com. No 32's though...
Nice cars. Somebody back in the 80's in Ventura county used to drive a 32 DeSoto Coupe. Not mine below.
32 Desoto = Rare, Here are a few picts I scammed off the web....the blue coupe has a Desoto Hemi in it..very nice ride.
Chris Hanson (Hanson Hot Rods) has a fairly complete sedan . Neat body lines but gawd is it big ! You could get lost in the back seat .
BILL FROM THE "ROAD ZOMBIES" IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA HAS A '32 DeSoto COUPE IN '50s HOT ROD DRAG........... VERY COOL CAR, LOOKS VERY MUCH LIKE A '33/'34 FORD WITH NO FENDERS
My boss has two sedan. One restore and the other one was a parts car (sedan also). That one got chopped down into a pickup and we put a 32 ford drop beam on the front. It is really bad ***.
Ive got a lead on two desoto roadster utes (probably cut down from tourers) on a farm a few hours north of here..God i hope they turn out to be 32s! they look great! actually any thirties model would be cool.
My dad built a '32 desoto street rod in the late 70s. I don't have any pictures on this computer, but its a blue and silver 4 door with a 327. I grew up riding around in the back, so I never thought it was that special of a car. Once I got older I realised how super cool it really is. I'd really like to get my hands on it and change it up a little bit.
I´m not sure but I think that I have a ´31 DeSoto.. (At First I thought it was ´27 Chevy, but it is so different that isn´t possible..) http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e345/hammart/DeSoto%2031/27chevy5.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e345/hammart/DeSoto%2031/27chevy4.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e345/hammart/DeSoto%2031/27chevy2.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e345/hammart/DeSoto%2031/IMG_1461.jpg And Check This: http://www.genesiolaranjo.com/carro9.htm
Possession of one of those grill shells would be a good reason to build a lakes modified roadster! Ted
A friend owns this 32 DeSoto Coupe. It has a blown 383 Chevy. I think the grill is from a 32 Plymouth.
sorry about the Nash picture, my error, try the below instead http://www.geocities.com/heatzero/1951-DeSoto/DeSoto1928-1961.htm
...here's a 32 coupe I have, don't have that elusive grille with it tho.,do have a 33or34 Plymouth grille/shell with it.,along with hood fenders, steering gear, etc. No motor/trans. It's for sale w/ ***le, it's my wife's car, she wants $6200. Have more pics if anyone's interested.
