I thought I was going to short out my I Pad from all the drool I produced over the sound !!! Gotta love it !!!
If I was a land speed racer... 60+K seems like a bargain for a new project. Or was this an Indy car project, similar to the SUMAR cars? Either way, it's way up there in the gorgeous department.
It's really just a lose recreation of an old indycar... But yeah, my initial thought was land speed car. That being said, I'm sure it would look terrible with all of the safety updates that would be required.
It would have to run as a streamliner. And, it would be at a HUGE disadvantage to modern Aero. But, you could build a modern cage that would not look "too" bad. Take the lid off this one and apply Or this for ideas
The proportions, aspect ratio and engine choice all remind me of the Maserati Tipo 61. I got to see on once in person and it has the same sort of presence as this beauty.
