I have been visiting your site since returning from Iraq in April of this year and decided it was time to join up. My main reason for signing up is to thank everyone here for their love of rods and lack of billet pieces. I have dropped all of my current magazine subscriptions because I am tired of looking at store bought bolt together aftermarket stuff. I appreciate all the ingenuity and care that goes into the finished products here. I am 50 years old, have two grown sons and a beautiful wife of 32 years. She is definitely a keeper and supports me in my rodding endeavors while helping out in the shop ocassionally. The shop is what keeps me sane and provides me an escape from the corporate world. Thanks for hosting this greast site! Larry CB_chief Oklahoma City area
Hey Rusty, stop by the shop and bring your kid. Our shop is right off 92 between sw 59th and 152. Can't miss us.
Sorry for not answering sooner guys. I am still in the Reserve and am spending a lot of time travelling to the east coast. I am currently building a '50 Fordor with my 20 year old if he and I can ever get the same days free to work. I have a really nice unrestored '50 GMC 100 that is 95% rust free with a nice patina to the old faded red paint and recently started collecting parts for a '27 Ford 5 window coupe. I have a 30 x 40 steel building (present from the Missus in 2001) where we work on our rides. We live a few miles SE of Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. Larry
