A friend's dad had this one. It's still in the family.
Edit - please ignore the front wheel. This is the best pic I have that hides 'em.

Precisely why the two-ten is so attractive to me, never liked high maintainence girls.

So is herpes, but you see me going out and getting me some. Probably no frame or floors left in it.

That's the easy part, if the body is in reasonably good shape you're gold.
A friend of mine found a solid 55 two-ten body and built a full rectangular tube chassis for it, they make a great street driver, also make a killer race car too.

It is rough, but the last one I picked up needed it all(frame and floors) also. It was a little intimidating at first, but it wasn't a bad job after all the old rusty stuff was removed.

I figure everyone's seen these by now, but they never get old. DDDel Ray interiors are fantastic.

  26. Ron Thorpe's mild custom 55 speaks to me. And the 235/3 on the tree make it even better.

    Very nice Russ.
Too bad the scribbling craps up the photo.
    Hello Photoshop!

I think Brizio used that hubcap to make the aluminum wheels on his waaay cool copper 55. It's a shame they can't be posted on the HAMB, but you can Google it, I love it!

  28. The car belongs to Ron Thorpe from the greater Baltimore area. He bought the car years ago, bone stock, off a used car lot and proceeded to add his custom touches. If I recall correctly, that's mostly original paint and the interior is the blue and white Del Ray style. I've been after him to sell it to me for years but he says I'd have to get past his son first. BTW, the wheel covers are stock 57 Caddy.

    Cripes!
"Bone stock, off a used car lot"
Man, that's hard to fathom, I could understand it many years ago like 1975 but.........
I did go back and see the owners name you posted and edited my comment but did not hit save changes:confused:
Also, I apparently did not look close at those hubcaps, Brizio copied early 60's? Corvette hubcaps when designing his wheels.
