need you thoughts on taillights for a '52 chevy konvert. nothing's too radical, if you remember, i suggested '55 chevy taillights flipped upside for someone's '54 on here recently. sorry for the **** *** picture, all i could get right now. thanky. tred.
I'd drop em down to the roll pan... and just use something round... Maybe 6 across like the old 60's stingray mod.
there won't be a 'roll pan' per se, shiny new chrome will be on the bumper and the car will be LOW, so that might not be the best location. plus i'm tryin' for a minimal/clean look so as to draw attention to the lights, y'know, make it look like i did somethin' special and not just runnin' stock lights. that '54 merc lenses thing intrigues me. i hafta find a photo, can't picture them in my head... thank you both! tred.

Id junk the stock location and fill it in, then id use late forties caddy lights that fit into the top of the rear quarters.

Honestly, I've always loved Barris's tailight idea. Fill those up, and grind out the bumper guards and make some tailights in those. I think those have always looked cool as hell. You can even drop in something creative for a third brakelight for safety.
