1930 Model A Hood & Header Clearance...Anyone run into this with an SBC when running a hood? Using standard Block Hugger headers and the front tube will be laying on the hood side. I really dont want to bang the tube in to get clearance. I could change headers but need to know which ones will truly provide adequate space. Suggestions on what works or any other tricky solutions. Fenders and Motor Mounts are pretty much locked in place. I am using upholstery board in the pictures to show the situation. Any good help appreciated.

Sanderson, 800-669-2430 makes a cast header, part number QP-1000 that is only 2 and 1/2 inches from the face of the head to the outside of the header, that might be enough for your hood fitment.
