A Custom 41 Ford sedan…

Hello,

In another thread, a 1941 Ford sedan was given a modification to the overall look. In this post, the top heavy windows and round back was given a slight chop to give some smooth proportions. A slight rake and a custom frenched headlight array was added. Along with some cool “mag” wheels. Now, all it needed was a set of chrome Scavenger Pipes to give the So Cal cruiser look.

But, wait, how about going a few steps beyond and creating a different look for the coastal cruising scene? The chopped sedan was given a sedan delivery rear section, the side rear window was the one piece or sliding if preferred. Now, it was completely different than the sedan with pinstripe color coordinated purple flames to boot. Or, add in some highlight color to offset the dark purple painted flames.

In order to keep up with the October Halloween Month of Orange/Black color hot rods and customs, how about a wild Orange paint with custom Black/Yellow flames…

And, a towable lift back personalized camper for two, disguised as a rolling pumpkin display. It has a pop off, screened in rooftop for ventilation. Of course, it is finished off with our favorite bumper. Glamping, anyone?

Here to 'deliver' some more to roll with the growing theme.

This is one of the earliest drawings I created for the FAS back in '06. It was a very early digital sketch using a line drawing colored using a mouse in photoshop. Too bad it's so low-res. I'll have to do an update some time.



A high school sketch I used to create the updated 'blue Sedan' I was called out for using the visor but I wanted to tie it in with the original drawing. Blue is colored with color pencil and markers, with a two-tone grey body/fender then colored in Photoshop. I was learning the tools at the time.



This one was a prequel to my annually posted R&R show rod "All Hallow's Eve" aka "Jump Start Franky"
I'll have to 'dig up' and re-post the whole sorted tale for this year's Haloween show...

OK, one of my favorite Steve Miller Band songs is "Already Gone" with a line that says "eat yer lunch
all by yourself"....and another line say's "fly like an eagle"...or so I think anyway.
