Customs Looking for this Blue 51 Ford

My son posted this build thread now 10 yrs ago.

The fellow who purchased it has passed away and he’d like to buy it back if possible but we no longer have a lead of the current owner.
Anyone have any info??

So I found this on the hamb classifieds. The similarities are too ironic. Same chop, peaked hood, matte dark blue, shaved.... but the poster's history of it doesn't match.

That one also says original running gear.

There are a few that appear similar. Hard to verify without some distinct feature... especially if it's had a color change.

 

From my own experience, every time you go looking for the old car you used to have it may not be anything like the last time you saw it and what your found memories cause you to want to look for it.
I've know a couple of guys who pretty well cried when they found their old car at a show after it had changed hands a few times and was totally changed from when they had them an not always for the better.

The dash was painted the exact light blue on Geisers car too.

It is possible the rear window opening was changed.
