Technical Ford 300 Motor plate?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by alteredpilot, Oct 18, 2022.

  1. I'm trying to find a motor plate for a Ford 300 with an auto trans.
I'm going to go looking in the googles for one, but I'm wondering if anyone knows directly where to find one, or if there's a different application that will fit.
    Thanks in advance.

The 300 Six shared a bellhousing for the 11" clutch with the 351W. The difference between the 289/302 bell is that one of the starter bolt holes is further out for the big clutch flywheel. A Lakewood has both bolt holes

  4. Thank you innernets.
Looks like the 300 shares the same bellhousing pattern as all the 6 hole small blocks
    164 tooth internally balanced flexplate
as well as Lakewood, Jegs and ATI make a motor plate for all small block fords manual and automatic with 164 or 157 tooth flexplate
