My niece who is an archeologist sent me this today, they are on a dig site wondering what year this is?
There you go, can’t say as I knew that off the top of my head, I’m not well versed on prewar cars! They were looking for an age to see if it was archeological…not sure what the parameters are for that.
I believe "archeological" needs to be 100 years old, this being 1940ish is 15 years short, but it will be a starting point the things above ground. The bad part is they have no idea how long it has actually been located in that spot.
It's already been established but the non-sealed-beam headlight buckets say '39 for sure. There's at least a handful of good bits on that car yet that should be saved if it ends up going to the scrapper. Even little trinket parts and bent moldings and stuff are worth saving off of there, very little is available for those.
While I don’t disagree it’s a long ways from me and I doubt a group of archeologists are going to peel the parts off it for me! Lol
You never know Fargo. They may help a guy out. Remember though it can take months for them to dig a hole.
