are those chrysler/desoto quads? what are you doing for a bumper? whats the deal witht he side of the fenders are the complete chysler fenders grafted on the 57? do you have a forward on shot of the headlights?
Yes, they're desoto quads. (but before you go buying the first set off ebay, know that they made 3 different sizes/variations of headlights, and of course those were the hardest to find) And I'm just running the desoto bumper (shaved/painted lower, maybe drawer-knob grill?) up front, and those are shortened EDSEL fender lines, not desoto- (I had to be sneaky SOMEWHERE) It's also got a 58 edsel dash and it will also be getting a 59 caddy steering wheel 57 joe- The edsel tails are getting extended on the top fin to match the longer 57 fairlane lines, and I would love to make a lower fin also, but that won't happen just yet... About the only thing that isn't being done is a re-shaped 58 trunk-lid, I'll try to post more pics later... Thanks guys! (and a SUPERSPECIALSECRET thanks to GERM for the ADVICE [germ's advice? Greaseball, I have those on my old ford also, but I've got a set of Lucas Flame Thowers for bulbs. might finally get back on track with this projeect this year, riight!

chop it! I started on one for a buddy a few years back. it was a 2dr post we converted to a hdtp using the ribbed 58 roof. chopped it 2 1/2 inches sunk the gl***. used a 59 edsel dash and gauges. but it never got finished. yours looks awesome though!!

(Mine are the ones with the BACK-UP lights, I'd rather have the fins....) Hubnut- Paul tried to talk me into a chop too... maybe eventually. But not now. Oh, if anyone is familiar with the emblems from 58 edsels, you'll notice I have the rear (larger series) post emblem on the lower corner of my roof, Push it..... Hidden door ****ons! (AND the new radio/cd will be hidden behind the old center speaker vent, hinged for easy access!).
I still have them but miss placed the delete plates someplace, I was actually gonna post them for sale. I've 60 dodge tail lights for my 57
