Why is it when the original poster asks a question, any question...
It seems, many seem to provide MUCH less than desirable answers ?
NOT the kind of answers that might be misleading, not the answers that are even useless.

BUT...the "yes" or "no" answers ?! With NO explanation or reason behind their answers. I seem to notice this more and more.

If you don't know, past...yes or no...leave the comments blank !

If you do know a good answer...have a reasonably good handle on an answer for the person...provide that answer/comment.
I...***ume, that the question is being asked because the original poster...doesn't know the answer ! Answering a question with a yes or no...is USELESS to the original poster !

Give the person a little background, a reason...why you are saying what you are saying ! This way, the original poster can actually...learn something new... !

I agree, but mind you a lot of the questions are pretty darn difficult to fathom at times with that same lack of information provided to justify a reliable answer.
To folks out there, pictures do really help and follow up/feedback is also helpful.
I note, we get guys on here that ask a question and they are never heard of again...

The calibre of the question is usually reflected in the quality and relevance of the answers. Good questions elicit good responses. Stupid queries get comments tossed around like a cat playing with a dead mouse, and that is probably what they deserve. The question to answer comparison all seems to be proportional for the most part.

... or, I can give you the short answer of "If you say so".;):D (We gotta' be able to have some fun....)

  13. So you prefer the 'how to fix the watch/where the watch was made' answer to the 'what time is it' question? Simple questions deserve simple answers.

The secret to getting a good answer is, post your question, then log out and log in under a brand new name and immediately answer the question really wrong. People don't like to bother answering honest questions but they love to correct people when they're wrong, especially if the wrong answer is from someone new.

You'll never get more, better detailed responses than that.

Maybe, just maybe. I mean its possible, perhaps likely, perhaps not though too. I think my neighbor's ex wife's brother in law's cousin had a guy next door to his daughters house where a guy knew a dude who maybe, just maybe, might have had one. Howzzat?

Wasn't it Monty Python that was looking for the meaning of life? Or was that the Holy Grail?

Usually when someone asks a question it's answered by opinionated people telling the person everything that's wrong with something else about the vehicle that has nothing to even do with the question.

Just taking a stab at the short yes/no answers............
I imagine some people have tired of putting out much effort to help someone sort out a problem and just like that it's a "now you see him now you dont" (ever) kind of deal.
I think some people want to have a predetermined outcome and just won't accept how ridiculous their misdirection is no matter how often it is pointed out.
